Roland Kühl
Managing Director
Roland Kühl is Managing Director of Heide Refinery.
Within Heide Refinery, he has held the positions of Production Manager, Head of Department Operations North, Scheduling Team Leader and Laboratory Assistant. Prior to that, he was a skilled chemicals worker at Bayer Brunsbüttel.
He trained as a skilled chemicals worker and holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in technical chemistry from TH Lübeck.
Jörg Fanger
Jörg Fanger has been Head of Finance at Heide Refinery since 2022.
Prior to this, he worked at RWE Dea AG/Dea Deutsche Erdöl AG/Wintershall Dea AG in various finance roles, including Cash & Risk Manager, Finance and Administration Manager at RWE Dea Norge AS, Managing Director of DEA Speicher GmbH and Finance Vice President, Business Unit Algeria. He began his career as a Relationship Manager at Dresdner Bank AG.
Jörg Fanger holds a degree in business administration (Diplom Kaufmann).
Ulrike Vollrath
Ulrike Vollrath is Head of Operations at Heide Refinery.
Prior to this, she was Acting Managing Director at Kalundborg Refinery in Denmark. Within Heide Refinery, she previously held positions as Head of Technology, Operational Lead North and Technologist. Before that, she worked as a Process Engineer at Weyer&Partner, as a Process Consultant at EGC Consultant for BP Refinery Bulwer Island, and as Head of Innovative Process Technology at the H&R Group. She holds a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on process engineering and has completed an additional degree in industrial engineering and management.
Dr. Sandra Niebler
Dr. Sandra Niebler is Head of Projects at Heide Refinery.
Within Heide Refinery, she previously worked as Deputy Production Manager, Head of Department Operations South, Director Commercial & Economics and as a Commercial Technologist. Prior to that, she worked as a research associate at the Engler-Bunte-Institut in Karlsruhe and in various positions at the Ingolstadt refinery at ExxonMobil and Petroplus.
She studied chemical engineering, with a focus on process engineering, in Erlangen and completed her doctorate at the Engler-Bunte-Institut. She trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Kiran Peeck
Kiran Peeck is currently Acting Head of HR at Heide Refinery.
Previously, he worked within the refinery as an HR Officer, during which time he held various specialist and leadership roles in Business Partnering, Vocational Training and Policy.
A trained industrial clerk and business economist, he began his professional career in Hamburg at Shell in the mid-2000s, implementing various HR initiatives and projects.
Sven-Okke Boysen
Sven-Okke Boysen has been Head of HSEQ at Heide Refinery since 2018.
Prior to this, he held various positions within Heide Refinery, including Refinery Scheduler, Senior Advisor for Production Planning, Operations Projects, Deputy Operations Manager, Head of Production Planning, Deputy HSE Manager and HSE Manager.
He holds a degree in mechanical and process engineering and is a safety engineer.
Dr. Matthias Endisch
Dr. Matthias Endisch is Head of Economics & Scheduling at Heide Refinery.
Within the refinery he previously worked as Head of Economics, Deputy Head of Production and Economics Model Coordinator.
Before that, he worked as a research assistant at the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg and was a research group leader in reactor modelling.
He holds a degree in process engineering and a doctorate from the Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg.
Steffen Bonacker
Steffen Bonacker is Head of Maintenance at Heide Refinery.
Previously he was Acting Head of Operations.
He began his professional career at Shell, where he held a number of positions, as he did later at the Heide Refinery, in logistics, process engineering, production planning and production. He is a qualified industrial clerk and industrial engineer and holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering.
Stephan Finnern
Stephan Finnern is Head of Technology & Strategic Refinery Development.
Prior to this, he held various positions within Heide Refinery including Process Engineer, Distillation Plant Manager, Technology Team Lead, Head of the Projects and Technology Department, Site Asset Development Manager and Manager of the Aromatics, Olefins and Power Plant.
He is a graduate mechanical engineer specialising in bioprocess engineering.
Stefan Nitzinger
Stefan Nitzinger is Head of Site Service and Manager Secial Projects at Heide Refinery.
Within Heide Refinery, he previously worked as a technologist, Head of Department Operations South, Head of Technology and Head of Maintenance.
He trained as a skilled chemicals worker and is an engineering graduate in the field of process engineering.
