Living and working in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein
It was history that chose our location! Originally the region around Hemmingstedt was a mining area, extracting oil-bearing chalk and then crude oil. Today we benefit from this quirk of nature, enjoying our proximity to the North Sea and the area’s unique natural beauty.
As the district’s administrative centre, the nearby town of Heide possesses all the usual municipal institutions. Educational establishments such as kindergartens and schools are within easy reach, while the Westküstenklinikum Heide provides comprehensive medical care and supports the region’s specialist doctors.
Bus routes and the North Sea–Baltic Railway (Nord-Ostseebahn) ensure good public transport connections, while the A23 gives the region a fast motorway link with Hamburg. In other words, this area provides ideal conditions in which to combine work and home life and achieve a good work–life balance.
We consider our employees partners in our task of developing the company further.
We foster cooperative relationships in which each employee is encouraged and also expected to realise their potential. We view further training and personal commitment equally as both an opportunity and a responsibility.
We select staff exclusively based on their professional and personal aptitude. We welcome ideas and individual proposals for implementation and reward input which leads to improvements in our performance. We accept our responsibility as an important employer in the region and ensure continuous development of the company. Training of junior staff plays a crucial role in this regard.
