It was history that chose our location! Originally the region around Hemmingstedt was a mining area, extracting oil-bearing chalk and then crude oil. Today we benefit from this quirk of nature, enjoying our proximity to the North Sea and the area’s unique natural beauty.
As the district’s administrative centre, the nearby town of Heide possesses all the usual municipal institutions. Educational establishments such as kindergartens and schools are within easy reach, while the Westküstenklinikum Heide provides comprehensive medical care and supports the region’s specialist doctors.
Bus routes and the North Sea–Baltic Railway (Nord-Ostseebahn) ensure good public transport connections, while the A23 gives the region a fast motorway link with Hamburg. In other words, this area provides ideal conditions in which to combine work and home life and achieve a good work–life balance.
