Kalundborg Refinery

Kalundborg Refinery has been part of the Klesch Group since January 1, 2022. In addition to the refinery, Klesch also acquired the product terminals in Kalundborg and Hedehusene.

Denmark’s largest refinery is located in the northwest of the Zealand peninsula and processes around 5.5 million tons of crude oil, condensate and feedstock per year.

The refinery produces propane, butane, naphtha, gasoline, diesel, fuel oil and heavy fuel oil  primarily for the Danish, the Scandinavian and the north-west European market.

Kalundborg Refinery employs more than 350 engaged people, which makes them an important employer in the region.
